    the left is the bone marrow. The dark
    hematopoietic cells with embedded fat
    cells have a very distinctive appearance.

    This is a typical look at the lung. Blood
    vessels and airways are seen within the
    unmistakable "meshwork" of the alveoli.

    So why should I care what these two tissues look like under a microscope?
