Three cell types make up the glomerulus: endothelial (red), mesangial (blue) and the visceral ipithelial cellor podocyte (yellow). Squamous epithelial cells of the Bowman capsule are easily seen(green). The macula densa (black) is part of the distal tubule. A collecting duct is in the upper left.
